If you are a runner and have not run The Falmouth Road Race, I highly recommend it. This year's race, which starts in Woods Hole, Massachusetts, is being held on Sunday, August 9th. Entries are drawn via a lottery. Or, you can run for one of the charitable organizations, such as The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). I have run Falmouth for CFF for about 9 years now.
The race applications will be available in May, but the oragnizers suggest checking their website (falmouthroadrace.com) in April.
I ran Falmouth for the first time in 1996 and was immediately hooked. Thus, I have run it every year since! I will be posting more about this awesome race in the future, but I wanted to put it out there as something to look forward to druing the cold winter months!
